1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Veristrate ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Veristrate provides identity verification, reputation scoring, deepfake and bot detection, and an API to expose these signals to third-party platforms. Scores are estimates, not guarantees.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and not impersonate any individual or entity.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to harass, defraud, or surveil individuals; to scrape data at scale; to circumvent rate limits; or to misrepresent the meaning of trust scores.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans renew automatically. You can cancel from your account at any time; access continues until the end of the current period. Refunds are issued in line with applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

All Veristrate trademarks, code, models and content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to process it to operate the Service.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veristrate is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from settings.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Madrid, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
